Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ABC Voltario Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the USafe mobile application (the "App").

1. Information we collect

We aim to collect the minimum data necessary to operate USafe.

  • Email address — only when you choose to use Identity Monitoring. Your email is hashed on-device before any breach lookup.
  • Device information — iOS version, device model, app version, and crash diagnostics, used to maintain and improve the App.
  • Domain lookups — when WebShield (DNS Protection) is enabled, requested domains are checked against a security API. Domains are not associated with your identity.
  • No content of SMS or iMessage is read by us. SMS Scam Filter is performed by Apple's MessageFilter API on-device.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the core features of the App (ad blocking, DNS protection, identity monitoring, device security, battery guides).
  • To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-party services

USafe relies on the following third-party services:

  • HaveIBeenPwned — used to check whether your email appears in known data breaches. We send a hashed prefix of your email using k-anonymity.
  • Apple — App Store, push notifications, MessageFilter, Content Blockers, DNS profiles.
  • DNS security provider — performs malicious-domain lookups for WebShield.

4. Data retention

We do not store the content of your messages, browsing activity, or DNS queries. Diagnostic data is retained only as long as necessary to address issues and is then deleted or anonymized.

5. Children's privacy

USafe is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR), you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. Requests can be sent to [email protected].

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we strive to use industry-standard practices.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
